In this month's home inspection pictures we first of all see a crack in the slab in the basement of a home. For the most part the slab is not structural, and cracks like these are not something to worry about too much (although they should be monitored.
In the second picture we see recycled denim insulation. While expensive, denim insulation is better than many other types of insulation in a lot of ways. It also does not irritate the skin like fiberglass insulation does.
